HoYoverse is gearing up for the next major upgrade, Honkai Star Rail 3.0. And leaks claim that this version will feature servant mechanic linked to the Trailblazer.
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update to have servant mechanic
A new Path in Honkai Star Rail, HSR Remembrance, might include a servant machine that the Trailblazer can adopt in version 3.0. This would be the first time the Remembrance path could be played beyond the Simulated Universe’s Blessings. This path can also involved summoning allies known as “servants”.
This leak comes from the prominent leaker HomDGCat on Reddit. The leak suggests that this servant mechanic may extend beyond the NPC servants. This can be can indicator that players could control the servants as independent characters. There could also be separate options to access Servant DMG and Servant Ability. One could draw a link between the previously leaked on-field summon mechanic and Aglaea’s Ultimate.
Many Honkai: Star Rail players in the past have conceived that a summon mechanic much like what the Trailblazer uses to control the Lordly Trash Cans in the “Friendship is Magic!” event could become a regular part of the game. This conception could be actualized with the Remembrance Path in the HSR 3.0 update.
This would be the first time Honkai: Star Rail allows a gameplay mechanic like this, especially if there are to be multiple Remembrance characters. On the other hand, some players theorize that this update would be a precursor to the Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/Stay Night crossover scheduled for 2024. The latter title involved duos of magical people and heroes as well as Master/Servant duos. Perhaps, HoYoverse is warming up for this content with the version 3.0 update.
The Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update is going to be a big one because the Trailblazer will be travelling to the next planet, Amphoreus. This planet is purported to be Greek-inspired, a first of the title. Herta’s real form and Aglaea might also feature on this planet. Overall, HoYoverse has lots of interesting things planned for next year.
