Honkai Star Rail’s next big update is version 3.0, set to launch after v2.7 ends in January 2025. HoYoverse recently announced that the upcoming Amphoreus characters releasing alongside the v3.0 have begun prepping for when this world is finally released.

The last release of a new realm was back in February 2024 so it will be almost a whole year since Penacony launch. This long gap has certainly done the job of building up anticipation among players.

Based on what we know about the release cycles Hoyoverse adopts with Honkai Star Rail, we can make an educated speculation about the release of HSR Amphoreus, which expected to release side-by-side with patch 3.0

Honkai Star Rail Amphoreus Release Date

The developer follows a 42-day cycle for release of patches. Following this logic, HSR v3.0 should released around January 15, 2025, at 11 AM (UTC+8). Of course, we cannot account for any unexpected delays.

Rumors have it that two new 5-star characters will grace Honkai Star Rail in version 3.0. The names of these characters are the Herta and Aglaea. Along with that, the character and Light Cone banners should also undergo a change.

Rumors also state that that both of these characters will be available for the full length of the update, that is, 42 days. In the second phase, HoYoverse will most probably revert to rerun banners after three weeks.

In the HSR 2.7 special program live telecast, Hoyoverse had dropped the names of various upcoming Amphoreus characters, like Cipher, Phainon, Tribbie, Mydei, and Castorice. More recently, in their drip marketing campaign, the developer had announced the arrival of Aglaea as a playable unit.

Finally, the release of The Eternal Land in Honkai Star Rail will greet players with a fascinating Trailblaze mission from this new area.
