Honkai Star Rail Kevin Kaslana cloud be the next character linked to Honkai Impact 3rd. And we might see him in HSR 3.0 update.
HoYoverse is gearing up to release one of the biggest updates, HSR 3.0 update. Leaks and rumors concerning this update have been choking the community since some time. Among the latest ones, there is a hint of a new character joining the roster that has connections to Honkai Impact 3rd, the original game of which Star Rail is a spinoff.
The sci-fi RPG Honkai Star Rail follows the crew of the Astral Express as they saunter around the galaxy. Along the way, lots of new characters have joined the journey, like Firefly, Fu Xuan, Ruan Mei, and soon-to-join Sunday. Some of them have indirectly or directly paid homage to characters in the game’s predecessor Honkai Impact 3rd. In fact, Welt, one of the main crew members of the Astral Express, was confirmed to be the same Welt Yang that debuted in Honkai Impact 3rd.
Now, recent leaks tell us that perhaps history is going to repeat itself and we might see Honkai Star Rail Kevin Kaslana. A character directly connected to the universe of the Honkai Impact 3rd will be imported to Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail Kevin Kaslana: The next character to come from Honkai Impact 3rd
This leak comes from the active Honkai Star Rail leakers Cleo and Seele on Reddit. They posted a picture of Kevin Kaslana, a prominent character in Honkai Impact 3rd. This means a similar character, though not exactly the same, will be joining Star Rail’s roster soon.
If this new turns out to be true, fans will go crazy. Kaslana is an important and popular character in Honkai Impact 3rd. Tall with white hair and blue eyes, his power is extreme. Fans of both Genshin Impact and Star Rail have wanted a character similar to him in the game.
Perhaps HoYoverse dropped a hint about this crossover some time back. An achievement added in version 2.0 was called “Why Do Birds Fly?” This is the same question that Kevin Kaslana asked a philosopher in Honkai Impact 3rd.
What is Kevin Kaslana called in HSR and when will he release?
The leaks says the name of the character would be Bayer, as in the German astronomer Johann Bayer, famous for his “Bayer designation” for naming stars. The exact release date of this character is debatable, but it will probably arrive with Star Rail’s next update, version 3.0.
A lot of protagonists from Honkai Impact 3rd have found their way into the storyline of Star Rail. Embedded within the lore of Welt is an allusion to Herrschers. Silver Wolf is presumably based on Bronya Zaychik’s “Haxxor Bunny” costume and Acheron is a different version of Raiden Mei.
HoYoverse is more than aware of these connections. In fact, they recently imported Sparkle, a regular playable character in Star Rail, to Honkai Impact 3rd with a new re-design. These two titles might be involved in new tie-ins. Rumors suggest that the popular character Yae Sakura will be imported into Star Rail in addition to the Kevin Kaslana character addition to its roster.
