Honkai Star Rail Dr. Primitive is one of the big villains. He has got some seriously twisted ideas and a powerful group of followers to back him up.
Let’s break down who Dr. Primitive is and why he’s such a big deal in the game.
Who is Honkai Star Rail Dr. Primitive?
Dr. Primitive is a member of something called the Genius Society – he’s actually number 64 in this group, and he’s known as an Emanator of Erudition. Now, that sounds fancy, but it just means he’s got huge knowledge, which he uses in some really terrible ways. Dr. Primitive thinks that humanity is doomed and believes people can’t evolve any further. So, instead of trying to improve humanity, he’s all about taking it backward – literally. His experiments focus on turning people back into “primitive” forms, like monkeys or apes, because he thinks that’s the best way to give evolution a fresh start.
To do this, Dr. Primitive uses something called a “memetic virus.” This virus affects people’s minds, making them forget who they are, lose all their memories, and essentially become ape-like beings. He’s done this on entire planets! One of the known places he experimented on is the planet Larose, where he turned all the people into apes. If you’ve heard of the character Rappa, she’s actually one of his past experiments and went through a lot because of him.
What’s Dr. Primitive’s Goal in HSR?
Dr. Primitive is on a mission to carry out his crazy experiments across different worlds. This makes him a massive threat in the Star Rail universe. He wants to make humanity “better” by turning it into something primitive, which most people would say is just straight-up evil. And since he thinks humanity is broken and not worth saving, he’s fine with doing terrible things to anyone who gets in his way.
His main followers, who call themselves the AtaviSearch Forest faction, are a group of scientists. They share his views and carry out experiments without any sense of right or wrong. They’re divided into different groups, or “Forests,” each focusing on specific tasks like gene editing, abduction, and making drugs for experiments.
Another creepy thing about Dr. Primitive’s setup is that he might not even be human. Rumors in the game hint that he could be some kind of non-human creature. He could possibly be something monkey-like, which would fit with his obsession with turning people into apes. His technology is also top-notch; he’s a master of gravity-capture technology, which even the smartest astrophysicists can’t fully understand. That makes him even more dangerous and hard to track.
Galaxy Rangers and Mr. Reca Are After HSR Dr. Primitive
Now, with someone as dangerous as Dr. Primitive on the loose, it makes sense that the Galaxy Rangers are trying to hunt him down. These are basically space cops who want to stop his twisted experiments. However, Dr. Primitive seems to enjoy this cat-and-mouse game. He always keeps enough distance from them, staying hidden but leaving enough clues to make it clear he’s around.
In the latest HSR 2.6 update, we also meet Mr. Reca, an eccentric director and professor who helps the Trailblazers find Dr. Primitive. Mr. Reca drops hints to the characters about where they might find Dr. Primitive. This means the game is probably building up to a big showdown between Dr. Primitive, the Galaxy Rangers, and possibly even the main characters in the future.
Will Dr. Primitive Become Playable in Honkai Star Rail?
For now, Dr. Primitive seems too evil to be a playable character. Unlike some other villains in the game, he hasn’t shown any signs of changing his ways or having a softer side. So, it’s unlikely he’ll join the roster anytime soon. But he will definitely play a big role in the upcoming missions. We can say this since there’s already so much tension between him and the Galaxy Rangers, and with Mr. Reca’s clues leading the team closer to him.
So, in short, Dr. Primitive is one of the most dangerous and morally twisted characters in Honkai Star Rail. He’s got his own creepy faction, twisted goals, and powerful technology, making him a huge threat. We’ll have to wait and see how his story unfolds, but one thing’s for sure – he’s not going to make things easy for our heroes.
