Honkai Star Rail Mimi is reportedly the name of the Remembrance Trailblazer summon. And this servant has a lot of exciting abilities.
Among the various exciting stuff purported to be part of update 3.0 in Honkai Star Rail, the addition of a Path called Remembrance is particularly eye-catching. But for those who stay up-to-date, this is already old news.
Recent leaks have talked about a servant mechanic that is unique to the Remembrance Path. Characters that tread this path can independently control a number of ‘servants’ for many turns. And leaks claims that Mimi is the name of the servant.
HSR Mimi: Remembrance Trailblazer’s Summon
People have already taken potshots at who they think the Trailblazer’s alleged servant could be. A lot of answers point toward a Lordly Trashcan, mostly because of their amusing relationship with trash cans.
Another guess is that the servant mechanic will work in a similar manner to the “Friendship Is Magic” limited-time event. If you were there, you’d remember that Lordly Trashcans used a variety of their skills to help the players out.
Honkai Star Rail Mimi Skills Leak
One of the main sources of this servant summons leak, Shiroha, hasn’t yet commented on the form of Mimi. But we do know something about HSR Mimi’s skills.
One of the servant’s skill is called “Mimi’s Blessing”. This might act as its Ultimate and allow it to “bless” an ally that grants them additional True Damage for three turns.
Another of Mimi’s skills is called “Defeat the Villians.” Reportedly, this allows it to deal four instances of Ice damage to one enemy while simultaneously doing a single instance of Ice damage to all the enemies. Of course, it is wise to take all this information with a pinch of salt unless official word comes from Hoyoverse.
All this information puts Mimi in an in-between spot. Mimi is somewhere in the middle of a damage dealer and a support unit. Rumors have it that the same could apply to the Remembrance Trailblazer with their own kit.
If this is so, it would be the first time in Honkai Star Rail that a Path is a combination of DPS and support roles. However, this is not the same as a support character possessing strong DPS abilities. The healer Gallagher filled this role perfectly but he can’t be said to walk the Remembrance Path, of course.
Now, the Path of Remembrance will alter the gameplay and meta of Honkai Star Rail from version 3.0 to a large extent. This is mainly because no Path before it is exactly the same as Remembrance. One main difference would be that now, players would have to build their teams quite differently. Even if the main character is the main DPS unit and the servants would only be active for a number of turns, any passable combination of characters would require taking into account the servants’ decisive actions.
Moreover, the next HSR 3.0 patch will also introduce the next destination in Honkai Star Rail, planet Amphoreus. So we have a lot of exciting stuff coming in the next month.
