The HSR 2.7 Livestream called “A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn,” is just around the corner. HoYoverse has officially announced that the special program will go live on November 22, 2024, at 7:30 PM (UTC+8). Depending on where you are, the time will vary.
For example, if you’re in India, it’ll be 5:00 PM IST, while folks in California will need to wake up early at 4:30 AM. No matter your timezone, you can catch it live on Honkai: Star Rail’s Twitch and YouTube channels. And if you miss it? No worries, you can watch the recording later on YouTube.

What’s Coming in Version 2.7?
This livestream is packed with exciting reveals. For starters, we’ll finally meet two new 5-star characters: Sunday and Fugue.
Sunday, a Harmony Path character, has already shown up in the storyline as Robin’s older brother, and fans are buzzing about his synergy with other team setups. He’s a support unit, boosting your main damage dealer with buffs, though some leaks suggest his power might not be game-changing.
Fugue, on the other hand, is a Nihility Path character specializing in debuffs. She’s perfect for damage-over-time (DoT) teams and works well with DPS units like Acheron. Both characters come with fascinating backstories tied to the game’s main plot, so expect some juicy lore drops during the livestream.
Aside from character reveals, the livestream will dive into some major updates. It’ll include info on Tingyun’s mysterious revival and Ruan Mei’s involvement in the story.
